tension / pressure around back of head.

i have suffered from tension / pressure around the back of my head on and off for about 10 years now.im 43. im not in pain but it can get you down. i think its due to the muscles contracting around the worn area of my neck,approx middle to top of the back of my head. does anyone else get this.

    I woke up about 5 weeks ago with aright eas in the back of my head especially when turning right. Pain is at back of head to the left tender to the touch. Doc gave diclofenic didn't help.

    Also visited osteopath for mass sage and accupuncture still sore. What is causing it

      Hi

      If it continues,  might be best to ask GP for a referral for MRI scan,  or a referral to a physiotherapist who would be more familiar with your symptoms.  GPs and Osteos don't really have the skills to determine 'hidden' neck issues.

    Yes I suffer this too, my head feels heavy like it's going to explode I also get a tight aching feeling in the back of my head and neck. If I do think about it I feel normal but soon as I think if it it starts to ache again
