I too use Paladin and like you have done for 4months or so in which time i have had one small flare up which is loads less than i used to with the likes of sudacreme or dermovate....i dont understand why you would want to mend something that isnt broken....If you had found something that suits at the moment then use it and wait until it doesnt, to change. I dont know how long you have had this condition but I know that after years of horrendous soreness i now have some sort of daily life...

Thanks for reply. I've had problems since my thirty's and was only diagnosed when I was 58! Old habits die hard, after years searching for an answer, or a cure, its like the film \" AS GOOD AS IT GETS\". I agree why try something else, I was sceptical about paladin, so glad I tried it. Hope someone does leave a posting, good or bad. I may not try it. I'm 60 now, still positive ! Take care.

Thanks for reply....I do know what you mean....we will always search for a cure..... hopefully around the corner..... I have talked to ladies on another site and it seems we all try so many things some good some horrendous some even through total frustration  go against docs wishes and try internet goods... I dont want to go that way so until they find something better I will keep on the Paladin....Thank goodness we can get it here in uk now......take care.... :ok:

Not heard of the cream called Paladin, is it a barrier cream or a cream to use in the shower?

Paladin is a barrier cream, a nappy cream. An American product only recently available here via ebay

This sounds very interesting. Do you use the paladin cream every day? Also do you use any steroid cream when you have flare ups or does the paladin keep it in check?

Hi, Ive used paladin since April. When I had my LS under control I used paladin every day,(more than once if I needed). I've only used my dermavate once during this time.

I found paladin on a site called ****..I think the lady is a sufferer too. I have used it for 6 weeks and although its early days i have not needed my steroid cream more than twice and that was because of an anal tear through weakened skin. no itches and paper type cuts for over three weeks. :P

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLYS SUE AND LYNETTE, I WILL LOOK INTO BUYING SOME, JULIA

Thank you everybody, I'll get some Paladin and try it out.

On another issue, this is for Lynnette - I too have had an anal tear a few times, have you bled a lot with it? I've used a small amount of steroid cream to repair the tear and find that I need to watch my stool movements because if I get too constipated my weakened skin can tear very easily.
