OMG. I am having terrible rib pain for the past 3 days. It comes and goes. It is sharp at times. It doesn't last long . I feel it when sitting or lying down. The pain is below my breasts . I hate this pain and its scaring me. Has anyone had this ? If so what do i do. Please help

Yes, me. On and off for about 3 weeks now. I went to doctors and she is referring me to the breast clinic, as the pain goes across the bottom of my breasts. It's in my ribs and upper back too. Really painful and scary x

Thank you Helen for taking the time. It is scary. Last night was a nightmare. I had upper back pain in the past that i feel no more. I was scared it had something to do with my lungs. Did ex ray and test results came back ok. This is a time in our lives that we just have to hold on and ride this bloody thing out. So grateful for your ladies. Have a great day.

im always paranoid about my right lung as ive had scans 8 months apart and they found a nodule, its not changed which is good but my pain is always worse on my right 😦 x

i have it right now, can hardly sleep on right side, had it before and it went away, im sure its allergy related with hormone fluctuations, ice and heat help, ive already been checked for everything x

yes helen, still get checked though, i did, i had scans and a deep tissue biopsy, i have fibrocystic breasts x

Thank you toria for your reply. I am heading out to get a heating pad. Last night was a complete nightmare. Hoping that heat will bring some relief. Hope your feeling better soon. Have a great day

try not to worry i know easier said than done, its probably a lymph node, mine are up and down all the time lovely, even in my neck and behind my knees x

no worries at all, amazon sell some good ones that you can either heat up or put in the freezer, im about to strap one around my ribs and try a little bit of cleaning inbetween sneezing x

Yes definitely. I have developed a persistent ectopic heartbeat in the last two months and during investigation into that they keep asking me if I have chest pain... I keep saying my ribs hurt like hell and my breasts too. But it's not constant and it moves around. They are sure this is nothing to do with my heart (it definitely feels too superficial but what would I know? I never had heart problems before!) and I have had a mammogram and breast ultrasound just to make sure and all good. So, sore breasts and hurty ribs it is!

Thank you CurlyPretzel for your reply. My pain also moves around. Sometimes under breast then sides. Last night it moved to lower rib cage. I have a drs appointment next week, hoping that things will be ok. My breast feel fine its just my ribs i am worried about. Thank God for this forum and you ladies. If not i would of gone mad.
