Terrified I my have genital herpes

Hi! I am 30 years old and I think I am experiencing my first genital herpes outbreak. I went to my GP on Tuesday and a urine test showed that I have a UTI. Ive been taking the antibiotics for 3 days and now I am seeing little blisters around my vagina, a tear on my vagina lips and sores by my butt. I recently separated from my fiance who I was with for 10 years. I started seeing another guy a few weeks ago and we had unprotected sex now this is happening to me. I never experienced anything like this before in my life. He never got tested after his last girlfriend so I am assuming he is the one who passed this to me as i never had an outbreak or any type if sore near my genitals in the 10 years I was with my fiance. I have an appointment with my OBGYN tomorrow morning but I am in excruciating pain. I feel like I am peeing razor blades or glass and my legs start shaking involuntarily because the pain is so bad. It hurts to wear underwear because they touch the sores. I have been sleeping naked but even that is painful. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain of the sores and go to the bathroom without crying? The new guy I am seeing (the one who gave this to me) thinks this is a reaction to a new soap and scrubbing to hard in the shower (which happened this pass weekend. But looking at the pictures and symptoms of genital herpes. I believe this is what it is. Ugh my heart is broken.

Hello, it definitely sounds like herpes especially with the timeline. I've read that the first outbreak is the worst, so it should get better for you with treatment. Best of luck!

I was diagnosed 3/18 with HSV-2. I took Valtrex for 10 days. I finished the Valtrex yesterday, but I noticed at night my skin around my vagina becomes becomes very itchy and burns a lot. This is happening every night and because of it I haven't been able to sleep. Has anyone else experienced this before?
