terrified of pulse moving body

has anyone had a heartbeat that rocks their body? Its hard to describe but its as if each pulse synchronizes with my body and moves my head too. i thought it was a mini earthquake at first but then I realized it was just my body on its own. its really scary and im afraid im having a heart problem even though ive been checked for heart issues before and doctors said i was fine and didnt find anything. im only 21 as well. im just really terrified because its a really scary feeling and i made the HUGE MISTAKE of googling it and although some people said they got that with health anxiety, there was someone who mentioned it could be something called "de Musset's sign" which is a heart issue and of course now im positive i have that especially becaue i had a dream last night I was in the ER and woke up crying. my health anxiety is very severe but i cant shake off these thoughts. anyone else have this before???

please don’t Google because it does not pertain to your individual situation. The odds are very great that this is due to stress and anxiety. Relax yourself because the more you get anxious about it, the more your heart will pound.

Sara,
Everyone's situation is a bit different, but the symptoms are often the same. I am older than you, started having panic attacks and obsession about my heart when I was 17. That was many years ago. I remember going to the emergency room and having several EKGs, as well as talking to a young doctor who lived next door; he became angry and refused to talk about it. He knew I was obsessed and just wanted reassurance. Obsession over body symptoms is common with anxiety. It is usually displacement for something else that is bothering us - refocusing on bodily symptoms rather than on real issues that we are anxious about. Anxious people are trapped inside a "fear" syndrome. If doctors say nothing is wrong, they know that you are suffering from anxiety. I have been there. You will eventually have to focus on what is going on in your life, what is bothering you, there could be many things, which may be specific or general in nature. You may need someone who is trained who can help you pinpoint or narrow down your main concerns. We are all mortal and this is a "broken" world. Anxiety is just one aspect of a dysfunctional world. People respond to this dysfunction in different ways, sensitive people often respond with anxiety/depression, or a combination thereof. I don't know how many times you have seen a doctor, but they should have talked to you about anxiety and the psychosomatic symptoms. Keep trying to narrow down what is bothering you. Facing fears is uncomfortable, but as the song goes, whatever doesn't.....makes you stronger.
