I recently had a cbc and some other tests. My rbc, hemoglobin and hematocrit have been increasing steadily since april. my current values are: ( i am a 25 y o female)

rbc: 5.88

hmt: 51

hmg: 16

plt: 429 (was 371 2 weeks ago)

My doctor wrote a note saying it looked ok and a nurse said it was only slightly elevated but its been increasing for the past 2 months plus i have pain in hands, wrist, arms, calf, feet and front of ankle...plus i noticed red streak of blood on thr stool today. Im wondering if these are signs of pv? I also had an esr test which was 5. Apparently thats normal. the labs range for esr is less or equal to 20. What should i makr of these results? im just being told my values arent bad...
