hello.

so i have been having a health scare since may about having herpes but i never had a physical breakout

did two home blood tests

one was with private idna in july. 7 weeks after exposure and came out negative

took another one with mylab box last week 16 weeks after exposure and it came back negative

can i be sure and rely on these results?

    both were igg based

    16 week is probably quite reliable

      i tested positive for hsv1 at 12 week

      Hi did you have a baseline test first and was negative then 12 weeks later it turned positive or was it a swab, and then u tested at 12 weeks. Thanks for your time here I appreciate what you're doing

      i had blood test an was low positive at 12 weeks got a blister at 14 weeks went back at 16 weeks and tested again amd was positive for hsv1

      they never swabbed the blister it had cleared up by the time i went bck at 16 weeks hence why i had the blood test again i wouldnt have even bothered getting tested but i was living with someone who had a comprimised immune system so had to be tested for anything that could be passed on i dont have it on the genitals i have it on the lips

      i did suspect i had it as im sure i had a blister some time ago tbh im not all the bothered about it its not like it effects my life in any way and i hardly ever get break outs until iv been say with flu or somthing and then its usually just the one spot i get
