Testerone levels

hi just had bloods back . i am on testerone 2%... last time i had bloods done they came back low 0.5 so consultant increased gel to daily. Now this time had bloods come back as abnormal 9.6 nmol/L

range is 0.5-2.6 ...has any one else had this ?? I see consultant next month , he did tell me to up the gel. I feel ok ,loads of energy & no side affects like they say hairy, low moods, acne reduce size in breasts, in fact I Feel great. I will reduce it to 3 times a week.I think in general my hormones are inbalanced something my consultant and I have been working on for a couple pf years,as i have lots break through bleeding and intolerant to progesterone. i have regular scan in fact got one tomorrow so i hope i can get sorted ...

    As long as you are not having any adverse effects, many physicians treat the symptoms and not the lab range since everyone is different. My guess is that since you are feeling great without side effects, he/she will keep you at the current dosage you are on. Its not clear to me if, in your post when you said, "I will reduce it to 3 times a week", if this is something you were instructed to do or your choice to do? If instructed to do, I would question why they would reduce your dosage if you are doing well on it. And if your choice, I would check with your doc first b/c you may not feel as great as you do now if you reduce the current dosage.
