Hi everyone, ive been suffering with quite a constant, dull pain in my testicles (mainly right one) and it sends shooting pains through my groins. Im trying medication the docs gave me but i also went for a ultrasound today to try and get to the bottom of it. my questions are.....does anybody suffer with similar symptons and what did they discover? Also, i noticed loads of red spots on my scans from ultrasound which have me worried beyond belief i really hope someone knows something about this aswell, as i what they mean etc.

look forward to getting some replies!

Hi everyone. Its nice to see I'm not the only one suffering with this situation.

I myself have had 2 orchadectomys, first one was due to reacuring cysts and the second was because of servere varacose veins. The doctors told me I would have to go on hormone treatment for the rest of my life. That I could handle...what I couldn't tho was that they knew so little about it!

I was put on several different medications but the worst was nebido injections that lasted for 3 months with no way of counteracting if it didn't agree with me. Sadly it was worse than I could ever of imagined... The meds that was ment to help me caused me severe aggression and I do mean severe..(worst was when I should of been injected with 250mg but was injected with 1,000mg instead!) I blew and for the first time I was truly scared of myself. As a result ppl close to me ended up on the receiving end of my anger, I couldn't control it.. I begged doctors and specialists to help me but they didn't have a clue!!

I ended up suffering a partial breakdown, had to do an intensive anger management course and refused all meds until they could get it right. 12 months they left me with no testosterone and no function as a man then I had to battle with the NHS to make them put me back on medication.luckily this time they got it right.

Since then I suffer from extreme pain on my scrotal area and groin creases...doctors have told me that it is called neuropathic pain (phantom pains, caused by when they done my ops) basically they have damaged my nerves.

The doctors have prescribed me sedatives to take on the night time and naproxen 500mg ×2 per day time. But they are not helping.

I find the whole situation embarassing and very distressing. Its horrible when your sack looks red raw as if its burnt, your skin is hyper sensitive and the pain is unbearable!!!

Hay every one. I was reading you post trying to find a answer. Ive now had 5 operations and waiting on my next one. Ive got chronic pain that ive now had for over 3 years and now one has any answers for me. I take 80mg oxys 3 times a day plus a hand full of other pills just so i can play with my son for a few hours a day.

Im at breaking point. My pain is still over 8 out of ten and peaks to pain lvls that makes me pass out.

ive had over 20 surgon look at me with no answers.

all they say is i guess we need to go back in and have another look and tell me each time it will get better.

i now have each nut in its own pouch and a pouch in those ones.

Some days i can sit there and watch my nut swell to the size of a kiwifruit then lose colour in the area and every day at least 10 times aday look down to a full purple package.

any ideas or info will help.

ps. Ive also had 3 pain blocks 2 in my spine and 1 in my groin.

Man that sound awful did they check the bloodflow? I know when I had torsion my nut swelled to the size of a softball and the scrotum looked bruised. Maybe a vein is getting pinched or something or maybe a nerve. In my case they had to remove the testicle as the dr miss diagnosed it as a bacterial infection but the bloodflow was permanently cut off and the testicle basically died.
