testicular pain for months

Hello I have pain in my right testicle which sometimes shoots up in lower abdomen. It started to hurt 5 months ago, so I went to urologist. I thought it may be cancer since I found a lump on that testicle. But luckily it wasnt it was just some thing I was born with (dont remember diagnosis name). After that pain stopped for month or so. But then few months back the pain started again but more rapid than before. Sometimes I have there burning sensation sometimes it just hurts. If anyone has some ideas I would appreciate it
