Testosterone cream?

Please can anyone tell me if they've had any success with using a combination of oestrogen and testosterone cream for healing? I am using the usual Clobetasol, oestrogen and emollients as prescribed by my Dermatology Consultant (recently diagnosed). I think I'm having success with borax too, fingers crossed. But have read online about women having used oestrogen and testosterone combined to heal and strengthen damaged skin.

IM trying the natural hormone pellets. Estrogen and testosterone mixed for my levels. It seems to help with symptoms

Thanks Renee, that may be worth considering. I'm using Vagifem vaginal tablets twice a week, but using oestrogen cream on my perineum/fourchette area, because that's where my LS has caused problems.

Has the oestrogen caused any soreness?  You must have atrophy as well.  I was prescribed vagifem but I think that’s more for inside area.

Hi Sue, I'm using Vagifem vaginal tablets twice a week, and oestrogen cream, Clobetasol and emollients, as prescribed by my specialist at the Vulval clinic. I don't have a problem with any of them, but the dosage is meant to be reduced over time to just a couple of times a week, but also using borax too. From what I've read elsewhere, oestrogen is healing.

I also read about this but my GP didn't think it was a good idea, must ask again x

Maybe ask your specialist Casofthebar? I have found GP's know very little about LS x

She is just a women’s md and she’s not a specialist in LS but she does the hormone injection for women so we are hoping the adjustments in my hormones will help the LS
