    Hi Nancy

I used testosterone gel as part of my bhrt prescription. I used testogel and then later, tostran. Testogel did help with libido significantly, but the tostran wasn't quite as good. I'm on hrt now, and libido is back to zero, so good luck and hope that helps xx

Thank you, Sassy. Is that something you can only get with a rx? I'm in the process of trying to find a naturopath in my area.

      Hi Kim,

I stopped bhrt because my symptoms had started to return and I went for hrt in tablet form so I could be sure how much was being absorbed, as with the cream in the UK its hard to tell when you're rubbing into your leg. My plan is to get to 3 months on hrt to see how I feel, and I'm then thinking of adding the testosterone. I've seen a big difference in my sex drive in changing from bhrt, and whilst I'm not sure why, I think it's the testosterone that's causing it to decline again xx

      Hey Nancy

I'm in the UK so not sure what a rx is? I had it only on prescription via the doctor, we dont seem to have the same naturopathic set up here. To get sonething decent it has to be prescribed xx

      Hey Sassy

rx is the US abbreviation for prescription. Sorry, after asking that question I realized your dr. prescribed bhrt. Most don't have much education on menopause. I purchased a couple of creams on Aamazon, but they aren't helping. I'm thinking I need testosterone since my libido is nonexistent. xx
