Testosterone gel

Hi,

I currently on estraderm patch and Utrogestan cyclicly for surgical menopause - Im 40. Been on them for past year. They seem to work ok with managing hot flushes etc. I do however feel tired, lots anxiety and loss of sex drive. My gp wouldn't prescribe testosterone but I got referred to a specialist who did. I have one pump of testoel every 2 days.

My question is for those on similar - did you get side effects? I have this acing feeling in my shoulder muscles, with tingling and numbness is my arms and hands. sometimes a shooting pain from my wrist to forearm. I thought it could be carpel tunnel nut I dont get it worse at night and seem to still have strength in my grip. So I had a thought about timescales and it seems to have co incided with the testosterone? I will maybe ask on the carpel tunnel too.

i do remember at some point with the estrogen my boobs really aches for a while then settled(but also grew which I dont like haha).

Thanks Kelly

yeah i think the patches are good fir me now and the pills, took a good whike, the pills give me a bit of a headsche but no worse than when i had normal periods and hormones.

do you think then that the aching arms and numbness and tingling hands is just me getting used to the testosterone? xx
