tests results

so i have no idea what this could be

cuz i was certain it was herpes cuz it appears 2 days after sexual intercourse in march and i had a big ulcer that last 3 weeks.

after that i have hading tiny ulcers on the same place, every 2 months, sometimes painful and sometimes not,

sometimes just one and sometimes 2 or 3 ulcers.

the last one i felt a terrible pain on my vulva e legs nerves 2 days before one ulcer appears.

if its not herpes i dont know whats going on with my vulva, maybe psychological????

it sounds like u have something going on have u been tested for all other stds and infections

just syphilis, hiv and hepatitis b, 2 weeks after exposure, all negative.

i didnt think i give it to myself, since i had it since in was kid, my body would probably create antibodies for it.

and also at the time I had genital ulcer I didn't have a cold sore years ago, but 2 months later I had.

when I had genital ulcer I was tested for syphilis, hiv and hepatitis b all came back negative.

I was tested for herpes 8 months after exposure and came positive only for herpes 1, which made me think if I could have type 1 in both genital and oral, but from what I read I find it almost impossible.

all of this is making me so confused cuz i dont know what else can cause recurrent genital ulcers

i feel you. i dont think you have genital herpes as is it very rare. if you contracted it as a kid, i highly doubt you have it genitally too. and that maybe your ulcers are from other things? maybe you could upload a pic? and what was your index when you texted? like the numerical value

my hsv1 was igg 47 (positive) and igm 2 (negative), my last oral ob was in may or june.

my hsv2 was igg less than 0,50 (negative) and igm 0,28 (negative) and i was having a almost healed genital ulcer just right at the moment when i took the blood test.

reference values on the test:

hsv1 igg/igm less than 20 = non reactive

more than 30= reative

hsv igg/igm less than 0,90= non reactive

more than 1,10= reactive

about the genital ulcers i don't have pictures at the moment, the ones that i posted here was very small ones, but my first one and my last one give me extreme vulvar pain days before it appears, nerve pain and painful to touch, the other ones was almost unnoticeable.

now i'm going to wait till another shows to try to get it swabbed and in march when it took one year i'm gonna get tested for hsv2 again.

also i think i need to get tested for others STIs, but dont know what else could cause ulcers for so long 😦

I see. That is a high index, similar to mine so yes you have had it for years as have I. I really doubt you gave yourself genital herpes. Theres a very very small chance. And vulvar ulcers and things are not always due to sti's. I have numerous conditions that cause issues for me downstairs. I have severe folliculitis that causes bumps all over that could be mistaken for herpes but isnt. I have contact dermatitis . I suffer from eczema and it affects my vulva sometimes. If i wear a pad too long i break out into little bumps when the pad was on my labia which also made me think genital herpes. It was after I did research and had them swabbed that i realized. herpes isnt the only answer the question you may have about tour vulva issues. there are so many conditions out there in the world lol!

well those are tears not really ulcers. tears/fissures are caused by different things as well not just herpes. dry skin/ vaginitis/ lichen sclerosis are all things that can cause vulvar fissues. have you ever noticed something round with a hole in it, similar to this photo? maybe varying in size or color but something with kind of shape?
