Teticular Pain Following BPH Procedures Anyone?

Posted , 8 users are following.

I am curious to know if anyone has experienced acute/chronic testicular pain following any of the BPH procedures we discuss here? It would not be altogether surprising if scrotal issues developed secondary to prostate procedures since the scrotum and the prostate are connected by the vas deferens.

In my case I had a botched varicocele embolization procedure in an attempt to mimic the Gat-Goren procedure to relieve BPH symptoms. It has left me with chronic epididimytis which is far worse than my BPH problems. So I guess in a way it did relieve my BPH symptoms but not in the way I had anticipated!

    Hi Howard,

4 months after urolift I still have continuous low-level pain. Seems to be behind the right testicle; like a pinching/pulling/pricking sensation. In fact right after coming round from the aneasthetic I had horrendous pain there and it is the same type of pain now just milder. The testicle can feel tender also. I do not know whether it is the urolift inserts causing this or trauma from the urolift op. I sure hope it goes away eventually.

After 3 months I saw a uro nurse specialist and he thought it could take months for the pain to subside. Well no-one tells you that re. urolift; the reviews all say a day or two and you are back at work and peeing great. I have had some improvement in flow but now have pain I didn't have before.

      Hey Andrew

Sorry that your going through the pain. I had mine done 4 years ago. Had no pain from the procedures. Are you sure that it has nothing to do with Prostatitis.

I have pain on the right side also but my pain is from Prostatitis. My pain comes and goes it is always on the right groin area

The clips are no were near the testicle or the Vas Deferens

Hope things get better for you.....Ken

      Hi Kenneth,

I don't think it is prostatitis as the pain was there right after the urolift. If the clips are nowhere near then it must just still be bruising or tissue damage.

      Andrew

I hope things get better for you . I do not know where the pain would be coming from the clips are on on the prostate.

      Good luck...Ken
