I’ve recently been tested formThalasemia and my results cakes back positive. I’m waiting on further blood tests but on 26 March I had an iron infusion as I was also anaemic. I’ve read on the Thalasemia website Australia that patients with this condition should never take iron supplements. Does anyone know anymore about this condition?
