It sure is wonderful!  We went to Siesta Beach Sunday and my husband and friends enjoyed the Gulf waters so much. I coullln't go in due to cuts that didn't heal yet on my shins.  I got one on the way down and it bled.  A friend had some dressings on hand, but when I arrived home, it stuck and caused more bleeding. I have to use teflon, non stick dressings.  Bkut it still was so nice there!

The Gulf waters are so much warmer than the wates in S. Calif. where I am. the Pacific Ocean is pretty chilly, even in the summer.  Sorry about yours shins, that is too bad that you couldnt' enjoy the water.  Have a good evening.

. I have never been to California and would love to go.  We talked about a trip exploring parts of this wonderful country.  The Pacific must be beautiful

      Hi Elijo,

California has so much to see.  In S. Cal, you have the mountains, the desert, the ocean, Disneyland, many cultural activities all over, and moving on north, I am sure you would love San Francisco, the Napa/Sanoma wine regions, lots of things to explore everywhere.  I was born in S. Cal, so have spent my entire life here.  Maybe I should work for the Chamber of Commerce.  Travel is wonderful.

Hey,maybe you could be my travel agent!  Youve lived ina beautiful state all of your life!  I used to live in Westchester County, N.Y. State, about 60miles above NYC.  It was very beautiful, but winters were too cold for me, so we moved here in 1969, a block from the Gulf and famous Siesta Beach where the fine white sand is 99 % quartz.  I moved off the island 5 years ago to a nice villa on the mainland, now about 6 miles from the beach.  I love Sarasota, but living part time in Bradenton with  my new husband of 2 years.  So I travel back and forth 22 miles.  LOL

Yep, I think I could be a travel agent.  Ha Ha  I love NY, but don't think I could deal with the winters.

Amen!  Andthe longer I live here, the more I appreciate it (escept for too much growth, people are escaping the brutal winters fat and heavy!

Have a wonderful time.  As the line went in one of the songs we sang in our community choir this season, "Don't worry 'bout a thing, 'cause every little thing gonna be all right".

My son had a plastic fish on a board and if you switched a button on it sang "Don't worry, be happy........".  It had me in stiches.  You don't notice pain if you are laughing.😀😀
