Thanks to all the responses to my discussion. It helps to hear others let me know things I am experiencing are normal. My husband is tired of hearing it I think LOL. Work is pushing me to come back and I know I left a hole for them to take care of, but I am taking my time going back as I know they will expect me to hit the ground running. Sometimes people who havent had the surgery think its nothing. Even my Dr acted like after the first two weeks its pretty easy. I am relatively young for this surgery, but it has really been nothing like I expected.

only go back when you feel totally able to - once back you're often expected to be as before - we wish !! I'm four months post op and still can't walk too far - for some reason my peripheal neuropathy to feet has got quite bad ( caused by chemotherapy for breast cancer, followed by a kidney out caused by the radiotherapy. All in all , probably not 100% prior to surgery ( all this in three years - Thank goodness I'm now retired, was so full on at work. Think carefully about rushing back and wish you a good recovery
