THANK YOU very much for the info... I may try it. what is the expense of the shot (American currency)..also can a primary doctor

the shots are administered by an allergy doctor. The expense for me was $5 a shot because xolair patient assistance (google it) offered payment assistant leaving me with just a $5 payment for every shot.
definitely look into it. it does wonders for people.

Hi Connie
i am in the US as well. I tried the Xolair with my Allergist and yes my shots were $5.00 per shot as well. I have to say that XOLAIR does work for some and not for others. They did not work for me unfortunately. the first shot did work on the second day for a few weeks but didnt take away the hives as I HAD HOPED! I tried it for about 6 months then my doctors said I should stop the shots as it was not working for me as it does for other's. My UTICARIA was severe. I ended up taking CYCLOSPORINE AND PREDNISONE, i am now down to 1mg PREDNISONE a day and 2 FEXOFINADINE ( ALLEGRA ) a day one in the morning and one at night with the 1mg PREDNISONE! I HOPE and PRAY to go into remission some day.
THE Xolair is worth a try as it works for others.
i wish you the best..
