the beads that go onto prostate artery emblosiation

How much radiation is in those beads and for how long as it is forever in your prostate.You need a really good radiologest to make sure it goes to the propper vains.I guess all BPH sergeries when you go to there web site looks really good with little side affecks.When you keep looking they put down all the other sergeries except there own.I think its a not all fit one sise approuch.

    Have done the research of numerous medical papers on line....Permanent low dose brachy seeds have not been the problem of radiation cystitis that High Dose Brachy seeds that are put in and taken out in 10 to 15 mins......HDR Brachy and External beam seem to be causing the majority of radiation injury .....but do the research for yourself

      THese beads are microskoptick you can't retrace them .Some guys have allergic reaction to it.

    they are plastic beads and not radioactive. The only radiation that you get is from CT that doctor uses to guide the beads to the proper blood arteries during the procedure.

    It is certainly true that it isn't a panacea. Finding what is right for you is the key part in dealing with BPH.
