There are medications, although I would advise you discuss your needs with your GP. He will advise

Hmm, okay. The thing is that I'm not living in the US nor do I have a GP for that matter. The thing is that my psychiatrist is kind of an idiot, and I did some research on my mental illness and so on and so forth. I mean, do you know of any medications/supplements and therapies that worked best with people suffering the same mental conditions as I?

We are in the UK and generally we advise and help people in an NHS Environment.

We are not Doctors here, we are like you a Patient. We cannot give advice on medications as they can have differing effects when prescribed  with any other drugs. A Doctor will listen and decide professionally what will work in your situation. All Patients are different and what will suit one will not be a good bet  for another.

You can look up medications on a different part of this site, also you can try NHS CHOICES on the internet they will also explain your condition, with various articles and further referrals leading to medication types.

However remember nothing can beat  a positive diagnosis from a Health Professional.

It would seem you have done your research now make an appointment and discuss your problems

We are here to give general advice and support
