The Fattest Person Ever?

Posted , 6 users are following.

Hi, I've just picked up my Pills and will be starting them tomorrow. I've been reading the various posts on this site and found all sorts of info that is new to me, so thanks. My weight is 24 stone and so I have quite a task ahead of me. I've tried and failed so many times and even had huge losses but always regained with interest! I'm very wary of these pills but hope the thought of the dreaded side effects will keep me on the straight and narrow( thats the only way narrow can ever be applied to me!). I must be the biggest person ever but am desperate now. I'm fed up with my husband hanging on for dear life every time I get into bed in case I bounce him out of the window. I know I'll have lots of questions and this seems like the place for answers.

    Hey you!

Welcome!...this is the place to find answers, you are probably a little confused and frightened...I have been on the pills for 2 weeks now..so not very long but am finding them great. You will too! be positive research as much as you can look at post by members who have been on here for a while, I did and have followed their lead and I am doing great with no hiccups yet!!! and the threat of any hiccups stops me going off the rails! I am not an expert and having felt like the fattest person ever myself I know how you feel.but you have made your 1st step and that is the hardest..now just get stuck in and be positive about yourself...even when we are big we can still be beautiful...I actually like myself now and that is only after 2 weeks..I feel positive and you will too!! when you are in control you do feel better! Good luck

Stilltrying - welcome to this board of striving folk...who like you took the first step some time ago....we are still trying too...one meal at a time, one day at a time...and bit by bit it gets better.....today I am wearing a pair of rather expensive light cotton jeans and I have tucked my t-shirt inside...INSIDE...never before - it had to be out to hide the bumps! And furthermore I have on a belt I haven't worn for years...as I have said before the feeling of wellbeing is something else....all the very best to you in your endeavours.

Hi Stilltrying, I totally agree with quill-trill. It is definitely a day at a time and if you persist you will find a combination of foods etc that work with you and the tabs and you WILL notice the difference. I was 26.5 stone when I started just over six months away and the results have been shocking - 5.5 stone lost. You have to want to lose the weight, you have to experiment with what you can and can't eat and you have to learn to live with the tabs and their side effects. On this website you will find a variety of people telling you what they have done - some postings will seem to conflict with each other!. If the only thing you get from this website are ideas of how you will cope with the tabs then all the postings have been worth it. Keep smiling and the best of luck.

    Hi Stilltrying,

Well done you for making this decision and doing something about it.

It is really confusing at first as you dont know what you can and cant eat. I found internet shopping a lifesaver as you can look at the label and check the fat content easier.

I have been on the blues for nearly eleven weeks now and lost just over two and a half stone. Never lost weight in my life before!

Another tip is to get your hubbie to eat the same as you if you can. Mine has lost 1 and half stone, and is definitely more supportive as he is reaping benefits too.

Keep going, we are all here for each other and are all in the same boat with the same goal to keep on losing!

    Sasx

Well Done, Still Trying, for taking the first step. It is scary and seems like a daunting task. I have just started on the pills 4 days ago and have a lot of weight to lose.

But I think one day at a time, one meal at a time, we WILL suceed.

This site seems like a great place to share ideas and get support. and inspiration.

Keep up the good work and keep in touch.

    Julie
