Hello everyone

One symptom that seems to stay with me is the MS Hug.  Ugggghhh!  It just feels like a tight corset around my ribcage. At times it gets even tighter. Anyone experience this and have any ideas how to get some relief??  This is driving me crazy.  I have had this "Hug" for many months.  Would appreciate any comments or suggestions  P L E A S E   reply as my sanity depends on it.  Thank you  and Best wishes to all.

I had this a few months ago for the first time and it was terrible. I increased my vitamin D to 20,000 mg daily. I am no doctor but that helped. My relapse of MS Hug lasted about 2 months. This was the worse very uncomfortable. I also prayed to the Lord daily and read my bible Isaiah 41:10, Isaiah 12:2., Jeremiah 29:11, Deuteronomy 31:6 to remind me not to be scared but believe that I would be healed.  Not sure if you believe in Jesus but He is a healer and I feel much better today. Praising God no MS Hug today! I pray you get well soon!

Hi Nat  Thank you for your reply!  Jehovah Rapha is Our Healer Yes I absolutely believe in Jesus and only by His Grace do I make it through each day!  Thank you so much for the scriptures, one of my favorites is John 3:16 and  Philippians 4:13.  Most drugs I am afraid to take due to having stage 3 fibrosis of the liver and chronic kidney stones that I have had over a year and a half. My stones keep returning. I was supposed to start on Copaxone but at the last minute decided against it to protect the liver and kidneys and my spleen is enlarged too.

Seems like my body has a mind of it's own, however my mind and Spirit remain steadfast in the Lord.  I will increase my vitamin D and for now an occasional Cyclobenzaprine when it gets to be just too much.  Thank you for your prayers and I will gladly pray for you.  Hearing from you today lifted my Spirits!  May the Lord's mighty Blessings Be Upon You Nat ~ Amen

Oh I also take Gabapentin 300 mg twice daily for issues with my hands, feet, numbness and tingling also Tizanidine 2mg 3 times daily to help relax my muscles. but when I had MS Hug my Internal Medicine doctor prescribed Cyclobenzaprine 5mg and I think that really help relax the tightness in my ribcage. Lastly I take Aubagio 14 mg daily that is one of the MS medications. Hope that helps you if your doctor will prescribe.

You are more than welcome and thank you for sharing your verses with me, I truly appreciate it! Praying for you, continue to keep the faith as I know it can get really hard when you don't feel well. I am also praying for healing over all those other things you said are affecting you and I understand about the meds I refused for a while not to take anything but my family hated to see me in so much pain and begged me to try something. I also tried changing my diet, no dairy, no meat, and only organic vegetables and fruits also getting colonic therapy and drinking a lot of water. All we can do is try, MS is so different for everyone. I truly pray the Lord heals you soon and provides you with some relief.
