It's been really helpful to read about peoples experiences post surgery so I thought i would share mine. I am 11 days post-op and still in terrible agony. I was first struggling with going to the toilet but i think this was because if the coedine. Since I switched my pain relief medication i am able to pass stool more often but i'm finding i cant really control my BM. There are times when i pass stool without even realising it and im scared that this will continue long term. Has anyone else had this experience? i am still bleeding a lot too. I was so disappointed with how i was treated at the hospital, i had no discharge consultation following surgery and ive been unable to speak to anyone since, i have arranged an appt to speak to my GP today.
