The person who gave me hsv 2 doesn't even believe that he has anything he got his test results and it came out negative but so did mine but I went to the gyno and she told me I for sure have it and Im taking pills for it .. But I explained to him he's the only guy I've ever been with .. And that you can get a false negative report because there's no other way I could have gotten it I explain to him this but he just ignores me .. I lost my virginity to him but I wasn't dating him we were casual friends and I've havd a crush on him for years .. He's so ruthless he hasn't texted me how I'm doing or anything of that sort I just feel so alone going through this

Bless you, I feel for you not only being recently diagnosed but then to be rejected from your BF. He may not have symptoms, not everyone does, so he may not have past it onto knowingly. This doesn't alter the fact that he's been cruel and you may not want to hear this but you are truly better off without him, flower. I was diagnosed last year, I'm still trying to manage it and come to terms with it. Get as much information from reliable sources as possible. I gained alot if support from a GU clinic, who also offered counsellors. I found some info good on the internet but also incorrect. I've tried various things, but the main thing is to eat healthy, sleep well and if meds work for you, give them a go. I have a bad reaction to them unfortunately, but I've heard that other people have had hardly any outbreaks, once taking meds. Everyone is unique with this, so it's finding out what works for you. As for your BF, only time will heal that loss. There are plenty of guys that are understanding and HSV doesn't have to stop you leading a happy healthy life Stick with the people around you that love and care for you. One positive thing that's come out of this for me, is that it sorts the wheat out from the chaff. Sending a healing hug x

Did you find out what hsv strain it is? Do you have hsv 1 or 2. I knew I had it as soon as I broke out. The doc confirmed it. My blood test came back negative swab was positive. I got tested 3 months later and came up positive, body finally developed antibodies. If he passed it orally to you, he will test negative. I've never come up positive for having hsv 1 all the yrs I've had hsv 1 orally. .

I'm so sorry sweetie. It's OK.. It really is . I'm here for you if you need to talk. You don't deserve that from him and you deserve nothing but the best and you need to remember that.

That's good information I don't know much about it she doesn't know if I have it 1 or 2 yet tomorrow I have another appointment I'm gonna get some books on it as well and he will never believe me if I say that he will always test negative if he gave it to me orally he's veey arrogant and thinks highly of himself .. He texted me " I'm sorry feel bad for you stay strong but please stop blaming me thank you" basically sucks for you but not my problem that was so painful it self so many emotions I can't even identify

Yeah, a lot of men are jerks about it and don't want to awknowledge it. The guy who gave it to me denied he gave it to me, said I better had jot given him anything and I'd I jve it, it was from me. Then he told me never to speak to him again.

Yup and I'm sure he will keep spreading it around, because men don't care. They just want to get laid.
