The tip of my penis is red???? What can I do?

Hello guys

I have been suffering from  this issue for 45 days now. The tip of my penis is red and it sometimes stings. It is not itchy and I have never had sex before. I used to masturbate every two weeks or much longer. but the last time the tip was totally red and swollen. It takes three hours for the stings and pain to disappear .

The next day, I saw that a red line showed on the tip and I can see that when I put water on the area it turned to be white skin and when I dry it becomes red again.

I went to three doctors and one of them dignased it as Candida infection.I used anti- fungul cream for 1 week and then anti - bacterial cream for a nother week and then mometasone furoate cream ....oh my God, nothing really works at all.

What is this could be?

1 - Fungul      2 - bacterial        3 - inflammations

I am frustrated.

Is this prostate related? I took different antibiotics (levofloxacin and erythromycin)

any help will be appreciated

If three doctors are trying various treatments, the usual posters here may not be able to help.  I suspect the doctors don't really know what kind of infection it is either, and are just trying different things until they find something that works.

That picture looks unusual though.  It's not clear if you're circumcised with a very narrow meatal opening, or intact with extreme phimosis.  Could you post another picture from sideways on maybe?

Were you taking the antibiotics before you had this problem, or later on to try to fix it?  If you were taking them before, then they could well have caused it.  Why did you mention your prostate?  Has there been a problem there too?

      Thanks for replying mI66uk

I wasnt taking the antibiotics before the problem.Actually, I suspest it could be an allergy for a medicine but what allergy could last this longer? I mentioned the prostate because the last two months I used to get excited without masturbating . I thought it could be related to the prostate for this reason. Today, I will post another pic.I am circumcised  but not with a very narrow meatal opening.

James, First, I'm not a physician.  I'm an engineer, so i couldn't diagnose your problem; however, I can provide some suggestions about the possible cause:

Since you mentioned that your pain occurred after masturbating, I would focus on that process rather than on a possible infection or something internal, like your prostate, which would seem like an unlikely cause.  A long time ago I used soap to masturbate and found it very irritating.  If I didn't reach orgasm quickly, I would suffer from a painful burning sensation at the tip for some time.  I switched to various skin lotions that didn't irritate; however, the sensation wasn't very satisfactory.  Now, there are several manufacturers who produce specialty products for masturbation (sex, in general). For me, the best one I've found in the U.S. is AstroGlide, a liquid.  There are  various gels, too.  I would suggest using something designed for the purpose.

When you jerk off, are you using a condom. If you are ,you may be allergic to it. Or is it red because your underwear is rubbing against your penis.

Have you checked with a doctor to find out the cause of the look of your penis.

    I am not a doctor.

These are only suggestions. I never had this type of problem.

I found out I had allergic reaction on my feet when they turned pink after using a popular moisturizing cream. I stopped using it

Hope you find it solution for your problem.

    Good luck

I had a condition similar to you. It started with a sore tip of the penis when I was

Showering. I had a solid rash between my legs. This lasted over a month.

After many visits to the doctor I was given a referral to dermatologist.

The immediate answer was psoriasis. I didn’t think it was skin condition initially.

Because it was a solid rash. Psoriasis is has circular spots with dry skin inside.

Those spots developed much later than the original symptoms.

The cream they prescribed works miracles on the penis. But not so much so on the

rest of my body. Good Luck.
