The Truth of what the Coalition has done to 84% of sick and disabled claimants in the UK!

Hi Everyone,

I am a firm believer on how disgraceful disabled people have been treated in the UK with this Tory/LibDem gov't, I expect you to have noticed this has gone for far too long. I like many others will never vote for Tory ever, David Cameron is like they say a Devil in disguise, and even voted as the worst PM to run this country ever! This says a lot, not to mention the lies that the public have been fed making them feel depressed, etc. The media have also printed stories that make many disabled or sick people feel literally not worth living. To me, and many people I have spoken to on this forum and via private message, there is one thing that stands out is many cases and that this government has made so many people depressed and unable to cope financially. This should not be the case at all, the sooner this Tory coalition is out the better.

As you know the General Election in the UK is less than 100 days from us. A website that deals with claiments of benefits and work ran a vote over the past week, but it was not just a vote, they asked people their views on the current Coalition Government and how they have been affected, over the past few years not just financially but healthwise as well.

I hope you will vote in this Election just to demolish what the Coalition has done to us. We deserve better, David Cameron and his cronies are for themselves.

If you read this far then I urge you to read the following... if you vote.

Les, thank you. That I as a taxpayer am involved in this appalling travesty of Social Security for the disabled is deeply troubling. Of course if we buy anying with some exceptions we are tax payers. We are all involved by our association as providers of the money the Government of the day uses and misuses. How we vote may mitigate our involvment or exacerbate our guilt.

      Hi George,

There are so many loopholes in our system, when it comes to Tax. Many people do not realize they exist.

My wife get's Carers Allowance for looking after me at just over £60.00 per week.

That in itself is a Taxable Amount and taken into consideration when applying for Child Tax Credit.

So, straight away my wife is taxed on that stupid amount per week.

      Now, I get

Contribution-based Employment and Support Allowance, within the Support Group

Again this is a Taxable Amount when Child Tax Credit is involved.

So, in theory My wife and I should both pay tax. That is how most people see it, and that is how Child Tax Credit sees it.

      But it is wrong!!!

I queried it and even the person at the Child Tax Credit was confused, she said I need to check this with my Supervisor, I thought fair enough, then she came back on the phone and said, I need to check this with my Manager!

I said sure I can wait, there is no rush. Eventually, she returned and said you are correct, you are EXEMPT from paying Tax on your Allowance. She removed £1,477 from my name as it should not have been taken in to account.

She even said to me that no one has ever asked that question before, which is why her supervisor did know either.

So, it just goes to show that if you know your way and rights, things are not all as they seem.

What get's me is how many Disabled people are being Taxed when they should not be! So, many people never read the small print - these days that statement is becoming a place where people do not realize what they are really entitled to.

      Regards,

      Les.

I guess I should really do a write-up on this, and ask Alan to Pin in on Benefits. Unless, you know all the requirements and how they affect you, no one else tells you these things.

Then the HMRC Child Tax Credit will have many people phoning them all about the same thing!

That's the trouble these days, Information Technology only works if the information is sent to people or made aware by some other means.

Perhaps, Les, that is why it's small print. But seriously that is entirely disgraceful. I expect it is stupid of me to suppose the counter clerks and phone bank clerks are expert in their subjects.

From my experience.... nothing is 100% foolproof, there's always loopholes - finding them is another matter though.

If everything was foolproof on the internet, you wouldn't have hackers - it only takes a couple of people to take sites offline... they use other peoples computers to launch attacks. Basically, all making page requests but thousands a second!!

People think by throwing stuff in their Desktop Recycle Bins and emptying it means its all gone! They would be definately wrong, because all the does is remove the file reference not the actual file. Someone could come along and reverse the process and get the whole lot back.

Now, George is searching on how to do it... wink

      Regards,

      Les.

No. not quite Les. I know in principle a very small change and . . Pooff . . .and the file is no longer a file. Restore the little bit of info and . . . . voila . . . there is the file again.  But I am no longer as curious as I was. I was always more interested in application than in how the tool worked.

      Hi Les ~

Speaking of loopholes, the US is dealing with ramifications of ObamaCare and what that has done to our insurance.  It's awful and the most that are affected, the sick, disabled.

I did post a discussion with the findings.  It's on this fourm.

I wish you luck and hopefully by you posting this, people will take a good look into it and vote!

      Warmly,

      Frustrated

Lol Les, wonder if he's become an expert yet, he's probably hacking us as we speak! lol

A young Autistic boy who lives near me in the village is extremely clever, probably a genius because his dad wandered in his room and found that he'd hacked into the US military!!!!!

He dad said he got him out quick smart; our sleepy village could have been bombarded with paranoid American military! The boy is about 9 years old. eek They'll probably be reading this and planning to recruit him!

Georgia, the worst hackers are the ones that do MySQL Injections into databases, these to me are a pain in the arse! They do it for fun, but cost website owners hundreds of dollars. Many sites are run by individuals who know nothing on how to remove injected code. People call them hackers, but they are not in the same league, it's usually done by "Script KIddies" that use special programs that allow them access to websites. They could delete an entire website within seconds, but it's a pointless exercise since most webservers use RAID systems, basically the whole site is mirrored, so deleting a website probably would take it offline for a few minutes!

Others attack servers, now this is major league, they change kernal settings making hundreds or thosands of websites down at a time, this happened not so long ago.

There's things on the net that would make you think twice about using Social Media sites. I have a facebook account, would anyone find it - probably not, different name and does not show to people, in the normal sense.

Here's one example. Say, you Subscribe to NetFlix in the UK, you would see only the UK listings, yet if you were in the USA you would see the US listings. Thats all well and good, but as well know Movies in the USA are released BEFORE they are available to the UK audience. So, some UK people thought it would be better if they could watch USA listings and movies by changing their IP, basically making out to NetFlix that they were viewing from the US. To do this they hide their true IP address and choose one in the USA, then you can see NetFlix in the USA. Well, this worked on the principle of you changing your UK IP to a USA based IP, and to do that requires you to setup a proxy address. Some browsers these days are configured to change your IP staraight away so you browse the internet anonymously - this is what David Cameron did not count on, because your IP changes you can put yourself in any country even though you are in the UK. So, his idea of blocking websites failed from the start, it is totally impossible to block a website from the ISP which he tried to do.

Anyway, back to NetFlix the number of people that used Proxies, Chain-proxies or VPN's all got their Accounts banned by NetFlix, so was it worth it? Our kids watch NetFlix on their iPads, Android Tablets, computers, or even Game consoles. I watch it in the Lounge or in Bed on our Cable TiVo boxes. I certainly will not pay Sky Movies prices! To have their full movie package, Sports and all in HD (bear in mind HD, is not the same as Blu-ray - I love watching movies on blu-ray, the detail is amazing, and now there is 4k - 4 times better.

Well, that well off topic! LOL

      Regards,

      Les.

Crikey most of that was over my head! I don't think it's off topic because governments are involved in everything.

I had a conversation with someone from my bank once and he had me so paranoid about the internet that I spent about 3 days trying to remove myself from most of it.

I found that some websites won't let you leave, as in you can be inactive but they won't delete your details! It's the same with cold calls. I always say delete my details but I don't trust them to do it when they say they will.

I googled myself to see how many search engine spiders found me. Too many! One was using a photo of my son in it. I had a right old battle with them I can tell you. They removed it in the end but why should we battle for privacy?

We only want to say things and do things in sites we choose to, not to have it available to the whole world and Jo Bloggs brother eek

I meant a website was using a photo of my son, just in case I didn't make that clear. He's a good looking boy and I can't remember what they were trying to advertise but they stole a photo of his face from me.

He didn't give his permission and neither did I and I wouldn't have found out about it without that conversation with the bank dude.

If that went over your head I'm glad I took the paragraph off in that message that was about something I found by just messing around on the net, it would have totally shocked you.

Thats the problem these days, look what happened last year. Paedophiles collected many family photographs off Facebook, even private albums. They then appeared on russian forums run by know paedophiles, what they get out of family photos is beyond me...

Yeah, thats true try closing a Facebook or Tagged Account down, you still get emails. This is even worse upload a photo to facebook and leave it for one day.... then delete it! According to your account its gone, the fact is its not - they are stored for over 6 months on CDN's (Content Delivery Networks) these are global, you may upload that one photo but its is space over many servers worldwide.

I tried an experiment on Facebook a few years ago, uploaded an image (no, not me! lol) It was a vehicle I had altered, only I had the original source RAW file, which is basically the original image. I left for 30 mins and then copied the url to that photo. Clicked delete, and there it was gone from my account, so in theory should not be on Facebook. I left it a day, entered the full url to where that photo was and guess what it was still there!!  It normally takes 6-9 months to get it removed off Facebook.

By the way, a bank does not know everything that goes on the internet. They know about security and thats about it, there is so many things that go on the net these days you wouldn't believe. Back in the 80's was things we classed as science fiction back then, but look at us now fiction is now fact.

They know there are life forms on other planets, whom are beaming signals and have been since 2008, but have changed over the period.

We know by the year 2022 5 people will be sent to live on Mars.

A probe that was launched in 2006 has land on Pluto, the furthest planet from the Sun, yet cannot sustain life due to the weather climates 6 months of Winter, 6 months of Sun - a case of dying in the Winter or Sun due to no ionsphere.

I know I ramble on sometimes! lol

      Regards.

      Les.

Not rambling at all Les! Making perfect sense.

If I was a space alien it would be very difficult to try to say something to the human race.

Many thanks Les for the education. We do live in a complicated world with a few unmannerly people making it more complex. It was ever thus only they have so much more power.

Mmmmmm I remember the name but I can't remember anything else about them. how about old-fashioned humbugs? I jdidn't often get them because I was the only one in the family would liked them. A tube of Smarties every year after they reached Scotland. Nuts in the toes and then a tangerine. Heaps of pips in those tangerines. They were much tangier than the Mandarins and Clementines we get nowadays.  Ah! Spangles, square with dimples at the centre. The striped ones were peppermint. Later there were multicoloured fruit flavoured ones.

a 0.5 milliter flu shot contains 25 micrograms

of mercury ,or 50,000 parts per billion

the[ epa] classifies a liq with 200p,p,b of mercury as hazzardous waste

so anything over 200 p,p,b of mercury is hazardous.

so why are doctors injecting 50,000 p,p,b of mercury in to children and pregnant women, question by the way tuna also comes in over at 250 p,p,b
