The worst anxiety I've had in years.

Hi there, i am new to this website and have been looking for somewhere that I can get some advice or like minded experiences.
I was recently (A few year's ago) diagnosed with anxiety (When I was 18 I was previously diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder and depression. ) and I had medication that worked but had to change it over 3 months ago, because of increased anxiety and the older medication not working.
During my change, I lost my best friend and it was the hardest thing I had ever had to deal with. Then it worked but I found myself anxious at night time when I tried to sleep. So I had to up my dosage, but it's making me have anxiety all day. I have tried to deep breath but since I have a fear of not being able to breath properly, I can't do it well. I also have a tight chest, tingling in my face and fingers/hands/feet. I have some stress pills that worked for an hour but I can only take them twice a day and with Christmas coming it's all coming on top of me.
I haven't cried much and I don't want to push it away to deal with it another day. I would love dome ideas on how to understand tgese thoughts and live through the attacks so I can get a better understand ing of myself and allow myself to own up to this illness. I think if I understand it better, I can learn to cope with it and not let it take over my life as it has been this year.
Also if you've gone through or are going through this, let me know. I want to be able to get help and help others too. ?

I have anxiety too. I always have but I started having panic attacks after some health issues that I have been having and they haven't went away. I am on medication and it helps but some days are worse than others. I try to deal with it the best I can and take one day at a time. I'm considering seeing a therapist to talk through issues. Have you don't that?

Have you tried breathing Techniques?, that may help you calm your Anxiety. Loosing a good friend can be very hard, you do not mention the reason for this although through life we cannot help but loose people we love around us, we take a deep breath and move on. Did your Doctor agree with upping your medication.
Depending on the time period you started to take the change of medication and the following increase this may cause you problems, so you will need to give the medication time to work. Upward four to five weeks

I understand. In the past, Anxiety has kept me awake for 68 hours. Try the Freespira breathing system. Stay away from Benzos. Exercise as soon as you wake up. Get Morning sun. I'm considering electro schock treatment.

I feel so much better when I exercise but the rest of the time I have such a hard time. Especially early in the morning when I wake before the sun comes up. I can definitely understand. I'm going to try some of these techniques as well.
