Theraputic dose

I want to share a research article that helped me a great deal with understanding my brain and how Sertraline (Zoloft) can help. Here:

It seems like 80% of the people on here are miserable at 50mg and wonder why. I'm not sure if this is a UK psychiatrist thing (do you even have psychiatrists for these issues, or just go to GP?). But 50mg is not a theraputic dose. I'm pretty sure people have horrible effects on 50 because 1) it's doing nothing for anxiety or 2) 50mg is just enough to trigger side effects without giving proper relieve, which will make things worse than they are.

    Thank you for this.

Are you finding sertraline is working for you? If so what dose are you on?

Mine seems to be working pretty well at 100mg. Discovered recently that 25mg is not enough a good maintenance dose for me.

Thanks for posting this. I am always interested in reading anything related to brain and mental illness, specifically mine - OCD and depression and sertraline.

Please keep posting if you find anything else interesting. smile
