There is something weird on my eye lid

Hi everyone!

For about a week or so there is something weird on my eye lid. I thought it would go away just like it came, over night. It hurts only when I touch it. I was applying castor oil at nights but doesn't seem to help. Google was not a big help either 😦

Any idea what this is or how to get rid of it?

    It may be a blocked and infected meibomian gland...the tiny glands in your eyelid that produce the essential oil for good eye health, ...or it could be an infection in the root of an eyelash.

    You can try wringing out a facecloth in hot water and pressing it on the spot, gently massaging it and you can continue with the oil. Dip a cotton bud/Qtip in the oil and gently massage around and over the spot. It may eventually come to a head and then disperse.However if this just gets bigger and more painful you may need to see a doctor for further advice. Do not squeeze it.
