They think I have narcolepsy but I'm not so sure

My fiance thinks I'm narcoleptic but I don't have the major symptoms outside of eds hallucinations while going to sleep. I can drive 2-3 hours and have no issue staying awake some days. But others I'm falling asleep multiple times a day. I took 2 naps today and am still tired after getting 8 hours of sleep lady night. A 20 min nap will produce a dream and wake me up enough to last another 4 hours on the bad days. I have a sleep study scheduled, but how likely is it that I have it?

      I'm diagnosed bipolar, but have had these issues befor my diagnosis for at least 10 years.

    Hi Jhudora, 

    What are EDS hallucinations?  I have hallucinations when going to sleep too. Just exploring internet for first time in many years, to see if anyone else exists who has what i have.
