THICK CLEAR MUCUS BACK OF NOSE ..TRIED EVERYTHING EVEN SINUS SURGERY.. WORSE NOW

After sharing my last post I have been researching different causes of thick glue like clear post nasal which acts up my asthma..This is what I found .Had surgery 2013 but symptoms are worse..than before..Some people have bio film which adheres to sinuses. BIOFILM very thick and antibiotics cannot get through to deep infection..Sometimes it cannot even be cultered it is so thick..drs are unable to identify bacteria that lurks underneath..It could be something as serious as strep, psuedomoni, or others. I googled bio film and found many studies done but many physicians are not up on this..in one major study they found MANUKA HONEY to be the only thing that can get through and even kill off severe bacteria..also I read another study that say using Johsons baby shampoo a couple drops in netti pot it doesn't cure bacteria but dissolves bio film so you can get to infection..I am trying MANUKA honey on google explains what concentration to drop into nose w distilled water. It also states to have a teaspoon or 2 a day in case this infection lingers.. I have not tried baby shampoo because I want to see what works 1ST. I also purchased a product called XLEAR nasal spray at homeopathic grocery store. It dissolves post nasal drip in minutes its amazing..then I ordered the netti pot packets from Amazon and use that its incredible..last.s for hours sometimes more. I still take Zrytec and flonase in case it's allergy related..Before you try any of these remedies consult your doctor or read articles related many of these finding were done in 1999 but pharmaceutical companies won't push it because they can't make money on Honey..Im not a doctor but am in the medical field. So being an advocate for myself is what I need to do to try to get to the bottom of this chronic sinunitis/asthma related problem.. If my sinuses are good my asthma is good.. Also taking high dose of probiotics, Vitamin D,C ans B12..Sick of doctors giving me medications that don't work..have tried everything.....

    Thank you for this article. I have this too - a thick jelly like blob at the back of my sinus/throat that just won’t budge. It drops down about every 2-3 weeks and I cough it up. It’s a clear blob of wobbly jelly. I never had this before my hysterectomy/oopherectomy surhery last year. My ENT said it could be due to surgical menopause and very low estrogen (as this can cause mucosa membranes to dry up). I’m on HRT and trying to get my estrogen levels back up - which I hope will resolve the issue. I also sniff salt water every day. But I will try the Manuka in the hope that will help too.
