thick, white, odour free and ITCHY discharge that is NOT a yeast infection?! HELP ME.

Posted , 3 users are following.

I'm reaching out in hope someone can help me. I have had a vaginal infection for about 7 months now where I have THICK white and ITCHY discharge constantly. I constantly have to wear a pad because I have constant itchy discharge.

The doctors have said it's not a yeast infection, and my 'flora' looks normal. So what is wrong with me?! I have tried high doses of fluconazole, OTC yeast pesseries and cream, BV balance gels, I don't have baths now only showers.. In which I will not use soap, i wear cotton knickers and I don't change my washing powder.

Please, can anyone relate or advise me what this could be or help me overcome it?

Are you on birth control? If not maybe try that or vise versa get off it. I have had something similar and i upped my vitamins as well. It sounds to me to be something involving hormones. You might also want to ask your gyno to do a PCR test. (i think thats the name or ONE SWAB)

It sounds like a yeast infection to me, and personally I think you may have a chronic conditions caused by a variety of causes, such as:

    1. Your weakened immune system. If you’ve received organ transplants or you are taking medication that suppresses your immune system — you might be more susceptible to reoccurring yeast infections.
    2. Humidity and moisture. Use panty liners can trap moisture and prevent air flow, making you prone to chronic yeast infections.
    3. Hormone changes. Pregnancy, menopause and low estrogen levels can cause the problem.
    4. Sex with a person who has yeast. Your partner can get a yeast infection after having sex with you. And if he is not treated completely, he may re-infect you. Ask if your partner has an itchy rash on his penis. It could be a yeast infection.
    5. High blood sugar levels. Diabetes or a high-sugar diet may be a cause.
