Thickening of the pituitary stalk - huh?

Hello guys,

What a weak its been. I have been diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney Disease, an Umbilical Hernia and now I have been told I have "Some thickening of the pituitary stalk", whatever that means. Oh, and my Twin sister has been diagnosed with advanced Sarcoma.

I'm 44, weight train, don't drink or smoke and have a good diet.

Anyway, does anyone know anything about this? I cannot find a single post or mention of this anywhere - only a bunch of white papers.

I have been having issues for a while, thinking it was down to stress - well, thats what the doctors told me, however I know something is up, thats why I went for a private MRI. I have short term memory loss, tremors - internal tremors, that attack at night - soon as I go to sleep and if I sit down for more than an hour. Oh and in the past 2 months my eyesight has gotten worse, blurry.

I thought this was down to the fact that I spend a lot of time in front of the computer.

But, has anyone heard of this?
