I have had started having physical symptoms of anxiety since last sept..first it started with hand pains which was bearable..i went for physiotherapy. I have history of health anxiety. In oct everything started gowing downhill like daily headaches, vision issues like bluriness, tunnel vision, twiching, pins and needles, balance issues. I took one month off..slowly i got better. In this process, I met 3 neurologists, had mri of head and neck. Nothing came up. I was worried of MS, so had gone through all this. Anyways I started feeling better until feb end. From feb end, i started getting thighs and bicep pain. I waited for month as i thought this is anxiety. But symptoms got worse pain in thighs, legs, hands, lower back bothered me. Except for little high crp.. test for auto immune diseases came clear. Later went to orthopedic, he asked me to take vitamins. I am suffering daily from constant pain..clothing like leggings, jeans increase my pain. Please help??

AND I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE !

I read what you written and it felt like i wrote it myself ! I suffer from annoying pain in my thighs and knees and it prevents me from falling asleep !

I was reading some information on the internet and came up to the conclusion that i have restless legs syndrome .

Everytime i lay down and try to fall asleep i feel that my legs muscles are tense so i always try to relax all my muscles.

Ive been suffering from sensitive skin and weakness in my joints and muscles for a month now , and slowly it starts to fade away.

Remember : THIS IS ALL ANXIETY !

      Hi Marcus,

Sorry that you have to go through this. But glad that pain is fading away

Can anxiety cause so much pain. There are days when pain is manageable. Then there are days..i suffer to go to work. I don't have sleep issues.

I hope we both have anxiety nothing else. I am worried about fibro. How would i manage my life further..as i am quite young. How old are you?

I have the same issue. I convinced myself that I have fibromyalgia and I'm going to struggle all my life. I don't have tender points and I'm not sensitive in my skin which means I don't have fibro. I think it is anxiety symptoms,,

      Hi Magran,

I too convinced myself I have either MS or fibromyalgia. Last night was worst of all, I couldn't lift my phone without pain. My wrists, lowerback, hands also started to ache which was new symptom. Also my facial numbness on upper lip which i last faced in december returned. I have ocd and health anxiety too. Its hard to believe these are all due to anxiety.

I'm going in the same road. I diagnosed myself with MS, cancer, fibromyalgia, and many others just in two months. My symptoms are: pain in my thigh, legs, and neck. It is like a muscle pain. I think it is related to anxiety because anxious people breathe badly which in itself make a lot of pain around the body.

I went to my Psychiatrist and he just looked at me and said , ITS JUST ANXIETY ! Everything that you told me are going to the same direction , ANXIETY ! you dont have anything ! Clean your head and enjoy life ! You wont go mad nor crazy just have fun !

and believe me its relaxing that an expert Psychiatrist say that.

I am also planning to visit psychologist next week. Getting professional help will convince me. Glad that you accepted this is anxiety.
