its the enthesitis that gets you there, that is my major symptom...

Yes....Agree with Donna. I also have huge struggle with Esthesitis. It causes inflammation in the tendons where they attach to the bones. Of course there are a ton of these spots on your body. The heel is very common. It was my first site and has been my "friend" the entire journey. : )

it was one of my early symptoms. it has caused my knees to sublux (partial dislocation), as the tendons have got shorter. Also struggled if i fell i could not get back up, unless i had something to hold on to. i already had some fusion at diagnosis
