Hello, cherl:  I'm so glad that you posted this morning.  I'm 67 yrs. old, much older than, you, I'm sure.  I was diagnosed with Fibro years ago, but I also have scoliosis, and spinal stenosis, and tons of arthritis.  I have deteriated so much in the last few years.  I'm have such a hard time walking.  I also have two bad knees and a really bad flat left foot.  I am trying so hard to keep from going to a wheel chair, but I know it must be coming.  I am so depressed over all the pain that I have to endure every day.  I have to live on pain killers...Looks like we are in the same boat, sweetie...If you have any suggestions for us, let me know...HUGS.

Hi cherl450 I was diagnosed with fibro in 2014 after 10 years of many tests and seeing different specialists. My mobility has got worse since last year I know have to use a wheelchair when I go out. I use a walking stick and walking frame when balnce is a problem. I had physio in 2014 on my legs physio said my muscels were waisting away, and that my mobility wouldnt improve which it hasnt its got worse. Im in constant pain with back legs been to the drs about it. and got no help? I cant take pain relief because of the severe side affects I have. Fibro has alot to answear too. You could mention physio to your gp see what they say. The physio I had did nothing for me at all. What I do is bend my feet towards me and back and move my feet in a circle motion whilost sitting just try raise each leg a couple of times. These are things the physio told me to do. Hope your mri and electric test goes well for you. please let us know how get on. take care

Hi cher450 it's Zoe. U sent me a message so I shall do the same.

Answer to ur question is yes. I went from coming home from work one day. Relaxed in Bath and went to bed.

In the morning well, how can I put this....I went from walking into so much pain all over. Going to the toilet was a nightmare as I literally could hardly move. I looked like I was about 150 lol. But seriously I couldn't believe I had gone from work to this. There was no escape from excruciating pain and hardly any strength to move. I was stuck. I had no help at all. I was completely by myself. It was a very scary time.

So that was my first big flare up.

I had to give up work. I can't get across just how bad it was. I was literally very seriously unable to do anything. I dreaded going to the loo. Apart from the pain I was bent over completely when I tried to walk. Looking back I don't know how I coped. But we do don't we......sink or swim.

After weeks like that I got an appointment with a McTimoney chiropractor. He got me upright by 2nd visit. I carried on working with him.

He was not a BCA chiropractor he was McTimoney chiropractor.

I rave to people about this treatment. It is seriously amazing.

Ur like me we have other things to deal with on top of Fibro etc....

I hope this helps in some way cherl450.

    I feel for u. It's tough isn't it.

I send my gentle hug and ur in my thoughts.

    Zoe x
