Think I have sinus troubles, could anyone confirm this?

Hi,
For a year or so now, I've experienced a lot of symptoms often associated with chronic sinusitis: pressure in the bridge of nose and forehead, the occasional headache, chronic fatigue, postnasal drip, some pain in the temples and jaw too. I don't, however, have much congestion in my nose whatsoever, which makes me wonder whether it's a problem with my sinuses at all.
Is it possible I still have a sinus problem, even without the nose congestion? I feel terrible a lot of the time, and it's really negatively affecting my life.
Many thanks,
J.

Hello my friend. This could also be due to your jaw. TMJ its called and it is called the great impostor. It can cause sinus type symptoms. I have a bad jaw, and at first I thought it was Sinus, but my Sinus are all clear.
Check out this article http://www.oralsurgeryofutah.com/2018/01/10/tmj-disorder-symptoms-can-mimic-chronic-sinusitis/
I would recommend getting your jaw checked out by a specialist to see if that is a problem. If it is indeed you sinuses, you could try something called balloon sinuplasty. A special balloon is inserted into the Sinuses, this expands the Sinus walls and allows proper function. It can fix many problems.
Good luck.

The sinus dr did nasal scope and was fine. Had a little bit of yellow snot but this has since cleared I believe because I have done sinus rinses and nothing comes out- putting tissue up nose- seems fine. I do not have post nasal drip.
The sinus dr think the nose is nerve related- the head stuff started after I saw him. In the past I have had head weirdness and had gotten scanned and I was fine so I do not know if this is truly a sinus problem or if it’s nerve/migraine issues. This past year I have been experiencing new things so I am confused! Sorry can’t help you as I can’t even help myself lol
