Think I may have to increase.

Hi guys
I had a great day yesterday, felt like my old self so I overdid it a bit.
Today I've been feeling some anxiety again, dizzy when I'm out, not focussing properly, nausea, can't wait to get back in the car, all the old feelings I was getting when I first reduced. It's been a hot day too and I hate feeling hot. It's been a bout five months since I dropped to 5 mg, thinking I should try 7.5. Am I panicking too much?
Should I wait? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hey Sonja, think the best thing for you to do is speak to ya doctor!! But I should warn you when you up your dose your anxiety or depression can get worse for the first 2 weeks before getting better because it's like starting a new tablet again!! It has to work around in ya system an to feel more better can take between 4-6 weeks to feel proper benefits!! Good luck hun!!

When you said 'you overdid it', I'm assuming you might have had a wee tipple too many😉
If so, I wouldn't panic yet. I'd wait a few days and let everything settle. Give it a week, if no better, speak to your gp.

Thanks everyone for replying. I had a bit of a wobble but I'm ok today so far. I was out in the sun a lot yesterday and I hate getting too hot it increases my anxiety. I looked it up and it's a fact that anxiety can get worse in hot weather. I found a post on here from two years ago where someone was writing in about the very same thing so that reassured me.
I haven't increased yet, I'll see how it goes after this warm spell.
I'm coming off Toria because I don't want to be taking them for the rest of my life. Whenever I take antibiotics
anxiety gets worse and it's like start up effects again. I'm prone to gum infections, also I just want not to have to depend on them.

What symptoms are you still getting Toria after reducing for a year, if you don't mind me asking?

That's a tough break, sorry to hear that. I think I'm sensitive to meds too, perhaps that's why it harder for us reducing. Who knows! Hope you get well soon. Take care of yourself.

Alcohol in excess is a great way to initiate anxiety, at least I have found it to be so... and I used to love to drink... now I limit it to 2 drinks... maybe 3 for a BIG party... any more and you roll the dice on having some bad anxiety... white tequila, vodka, gin are the best, IMO... less "carboners" to mess you up...
