Third testicle sensation in groin

Posted , 9 users are following.

Hard to say exactly what I have since it is such a queer sensation, so I am going to throw out a few statements that describe, as closely as possible, what I feel.

"As if I have a third testicle not in the scrotum but way above it, underneath the area where pubic hair grows and towrads my left thigh (right hand side if fine). Feels like this testucle is both bulgin and being squeezed yet I cannot feel a thing."

Also

"At times I feel a strange bulging or numbing sensation in the left side of the left teticle which cover the left side of the scrotum and goes all the way to the inner side of my left thigh."

Advice on what this could potentially be is appreciated.

No idea what could cause such an unusual sensation, but I would take it as a sign to go visit your favorite urologist.

I would see a doctor as soon as possible. It can be that your testicles are getting the blood flow blocked. It can cause severe damage. It can also be a sign of prostatitis. So get it checked.

    Hi John

I had something very similar about 12  years ago in exactly the same place as your lump. . It turned out to be a hernia and it was sorted out by an operation to repair it. Have had no problem since then.

    All the best

    Peter

Unless you have made medical history, its not a third testicle, it sounds like a hernia or breaking the muscular wall that is the bulging or the pulling sensation. I think an internist would detect it or a urologist too of course. I am not a doctor just a regular person. I hope it gets better.

Ever have epiditimus before?  Your description sounds simialr to my not-long ago experiences... epiditimus tube gets blocked, swells up, tender to the touch and backs up from the place you describe, all the way to the testical.  I'm right-handed, so it's always on my right side.  ;-)

I've had it three or fours times, first time years ago, last two or three times during my first 12 months of cathing, before I got really OCD about prepping.  Prescirption antibiotics have always cleared mine up in a week-10 days.

Definitely something to have checked!  Here in the US, we can do at small independent places, not a hospital visit....

This discussion is interesting, I have exactly what you describe and it is getting worse by the day, and can now start to feel pain when walking. I was advised a few weeks ago I had Prostititis and would have to wait for the Antibiotics to work . My own view is my Prostate is blocked and is now swelling. I have a Doctors appointment on Tuesday as they are now suggesting I have Hormone Deficiency which is causing me continual hot sweats. Begin to wonder if it would have been better to have had the Prostate removed rather than the TURP procedure although this was not offered.

Some 20 years ago I had something similar to what you have described and I did nothing about it for  quite a while. It started as a soft swelling but gradually got bigger and harder but not at all painful although I had to be careful not to trap it under me if I sat down wearing loose underwear. Eventually I mentioned it to my GP when visiting for a different pupoose and she examined it by palpating it and shining a light through my scrotum from below. She said it was a hydrocele and was quite harmless but if I wanted to do anything about it there were two main options: an operation or an aspiration. The operation would provide permanent cure but had risks, especially of infection complications. The aspiration was a simple procedure which could be done by her in the surgery and consisted of drainng the fluid from the scrotum using a hypodermic syringe but nearly always the condition returns in time. I opted for the aspiration and the whole thing took about half an hour and about 120-130 ml of fluid was extracted and my scrotum returned to its normal size within a couple of days. As predicted the condition did return about a year later but was and is now much less in size and very soft and without any discomfort so I will probably not repeat the aspiration process. I am not saying that you have this condition but it is easily identified and you should, in my opinion, talk to your GP about it even just to eliminate it.
