Thirsty after taking Vit D

Pretty low levels of VD , 7ng/ml , doctor prescribed 50000 units of vit D2 weekly for 12 weeks. couple of hours after taking the first dose I was getting thirsty all the time . i never had any issues before with dry mouth . Called my doctor , she told me was a side effect and should I keep going with the treatment . After 12 weeks dealing with that I started noticing was getting better so I decided start taking VD 5k daily and bummmm 4 hours after I took the 5k dose , dry mouth again how the first day.Everything happened after I start supplementing vit D. Anyone experiencing this ?

    I'm so thristy in the morning like 3 or 4 big glasses of water.. Thought I had diabetes at one point but I take extra Vit D at night so this could be why.. Water is the best thing to drink so I wasn't concerned just thought it was odd.

      its weird . I never had this issue before, everything started after Taking VD supplements. Did you mention this to your doctor ?

      No, I never talked with the doctor.. Blood tests are good-- no diabetes so I'm fine.. It's a good way to get water in because our bodies need water..

    Yes, this is common if the vitamin D intake is excessive.
