So recently about 2 weeks ago im getting this constant ringing or buzzing noise in my ear. Before it use to just come once in awhile now its almost an all day thing. My family doctor says looks like theres alot of pressure behind my ear. Guessing it could be sinus or something. I know its not high blood pressure because im on medication and its usally about 130 over 82. I also have a bad shoulder injury that has been putting stress on my neck. I just started nasel spray.

Hi Brandon - certainly sounds like tinnitus. Were you given a hearing test? The injury certainly could be the cause and sinus induced tinnitus is rare but possible. Of course I'm not a doctor and I'm hoping you saw an ENT. You were only given a nasal spray? Any diuretic? Sometimes both sprays and diuretics can make the tinnitus intensify but you have to start somewhere. A good ENT will help especially since you caught it so early.

I have suffered from tinnitus for over 25 years. Not sure what the cause of mine is. It could be one thing or a bunch of things in my past including a tonciectomy at 21. Also had the adenoids removed.

You need some clear answers and I don't think  you're getting them. I hope the tinnitus you're experiencing is temporary and just goes away. Unfortunately, it's rare that once T shows rears it's ugly head, it never goes away.

See a specialist that can advise you furhter. Good Luck!

S o sorry but yep, sounds like T. Hope yours goes away, but if not, you will adjust. Once you can relax about it and keep your mind on other sounds, you should be able to xope. Have had mine for foing on 3 yrs. Some days worse than others and it can cause anxiety. Some days hearing is very sensitive as well..Many of us here have T. Don't suffer alone..we are here if needed..take care and praying yours is temporary..
