This is making my life a living hell, constant feeling in the tip of my penis.

Around October of last year I began having this unbearable urge to urinate, I am a 20 year old male. I got tested multiple times for anything you can think of, UTI, prostate exam etc. I was referred to a urologist. When I went to the urologist I took a sheet home and filled out all the times I urinated, but this wasn't the issue, the issue was this constant irritating urge to urinate, almost as if something was swollen in my urethra. It sort of died down for a few month before my next appointment (August of this year) so the urologist discharged me. 3 nights ago and it has began again, I have no idea what to do it genuinely ruins my life and my mood and makes it impossible to sleep. it sort of feels like something is stuck in my tube. Seems to get worse after going to the toilet, if I hold it in and go to urinate when I am able to then as soon as i leave the toilet it goes back to being so intense. Can anyone help me? This is a nightmare I really need some help with this, I start uni in a few weeks, I've just been put on solifenacin but I can't help but think that isn't going to help, found a discussion on here nearly 14 pages long with the same issue but was hoping I could get some more insight. Could it possibly be linked to masturbation?

Hi Callum. I know this can be a very difficult thing tho go through. I have a similar symptoms to you, my urologist diagnosied me with prostatitis. Burning sensation at the tip of the urethra, pain in the penis gland after ejaculation, constant desire to urinate. I have this for almost 3months now. I'll soon be getting my script of antibiotics which the urologist prescribed me.

I know you are stressed Im going through it too.

      Regards, Lance

outside of what doctors may suggest for prostate etc, other functional doctors who know about this stuff, strongly urge to get hormones in balance, good vitamin d levels and look at certain supplements for prostate inflammation and general prostate health. often a prostate problem is due to a hormonal imbalance, and this can be testo, free test, estrogen, dhea , allsorts really. so as well as looking at obvious infection possibilities, if you get no progress look at hormonal and general prostate health products . good luck mate

    hi guys,

when we have a problem with penis or similar area, we should also help ourself with making all the things possible to find out the reason.

please try to take a high quality photos for the penis and the opening.

these days, technology is not a problem . you can buy a microscope or go to a doctor who have dermoscope (very high quality camera like). these would help find out your problem.

some times it would be just the fabrics of the clothes you are wearing just stuck in the urethra and cause irritation or could be somthing more serious like viral infections and skin issues .

please lets take a photo and share our problems to help each other
