So firstly im a male

During a time when i was very sexually active i slept with mulitple partners without protection as i was under the impression they was clean .

I decided to put sex on the back foot for a while (2years) as i was in search for a long term partner whom im happily with now .

Just as we was getting ready to take that next step.On a random day i felt a quick but slight itch which caused me to check my private area. I noticed a few small bumps rougly in the same area.I didnt think much at the time and used a cotton bud to carefuly squeeze them. So being a bit more aware of that area now , a short time later im noticing im suffering from the same thing in a near enough the same spot . I just cant wrap my head around it because i had check up after i last had sex 2 years ago and i was clear aswell as symptom free until now.

Can someone please help me ? this is affecting me from taking the next step with my partner as im delaying. i have booked to be seen.

To me it looks like Fordyce spots. which are normal someone women have similar bumps along the lining of labia. and they are harmless unless they start to hurt. i developed mine around 19/20. but it doesnt look like herps or syphilis or any major thing!

Hi, these do not look like fordyce spots. you can google fordyce spots if you want. They can sometimes be elevated and get more visible with time but they do not appear and disapear. And you cannot squeeze them.

At first glance, I thought of early herpes sores. Do they hurt? It's not impossible that you have been a silent carrier for a few years. I don't want to scare you, it's just an option you need to rule out with your doctor.

It can also be molluscum contagiosum. Benign virus but need treatment to prevent spreading. It makes more sense with your timeline and recurrence. Warts cannot be squeezed and usually take longer to disappear without treatment.

In any case, you need to see a doctor for a clear diagnosis and treatment. It's very mature and thoughtful to protect your partner. Use protection until you get it checked out. There's nothing to be worried and you'll be just fine.
