do you girls feel the weakness is different from how we feel normally after some hard work or something? this feels more like heart has to work harder, and things I do normally in no time takes so much time to get done legs especiallybelow knee feels so weak. symptoms are all over the place different set of symptoms different times of day , tired of this:(

Shakiness always, cannot even slightly delay meals,

tightness ribs, overwhelming anxiety, chillness alternating with hot flushes, left arm weakness, palpitations, neck pain, arm weakness, blurred vision , nausea and the list goes.

I don't even care about the hot flushes or night sweats its the other crippling symptoms that is so concerning 😦

does it get better ? I have lost all hope !

Hello priya , yes its called crashing fatigue. I experienced this alot and the other symptoms you mentioned in the beginning stages of peri. My body would just quit on me suddenly. I felt tired , not a normal tired but the overall weakness took its toll. It was hard for me to do the simplest things some days. And to top it off the shortness of breath that came along with it. I was a complete mess and would cry all day everyday. It did pass thank God, hoping to never experience it again. My advice to you is to try to take it easy, don't over exert yourself and know that it will pass praying for you πŸ™

    Hello Priya!

i can relate to the shakiness! I thought it might be from caffeine, but soon realized it was happening when I hadnt eaten lunch.

I also get a tightness in my ribs. it is like having a tight band around my rib cage. That one comes and goes.

almost all my pain is with my left side. shoulder, neck and even my left breast.

Ive had everything from blood work, mammogram to a colonoscopy and all tests come back normal.

hormones can do some crazy things to our bodies and drive our anxiety through the roof!

I am so sorry you are suffering too. I have had a whole raft of symptoms and many have been very similar to yours. I have found HRT very helpful but certainly not a cure all. I just hope that one day I will find the old me again. And I do find comfort in knowing I am not alone on this journey.

mine has passed now but my heart rate would also go up just on standing, my arms started to feel heavy aswell and tire easily, gradually it got better, i had so many tests and nothing came back, i just had to push through as have 3 children aswell, it all started around 43 im nearly 47 now, about the last year i have been good but have just started experiencing hot flushes on a daily basis, make sure all your vitamins are tested, as my d, b12 and iron were all low, i do have underactive thyroid aswell, hashimotis.

i didn't really do anything other than hope each day when i woke that my legs would be normal again, slowly they came back, hope this helps in anyway, its horrendous.

so finally my bloods are showing that im perimenopause , however my thyroid also showed i need increase in dose, so sweats can be caused by both of these, doct retesting thyroid after 2 months of increase in dose, as for the perimenopause, will see how i go with symptoms once thyroid back in range.
