This weird thing on my toe, doctor didn’t know what it was??

i’ve had this lump of skin on my toe for about 2 years now, right on the top of my big toe. it’s basically just a big soft ball of dead skin, and i can pick at it and get rid of the dead skin and the ball goes away, but eventually it builds up again. i spoke to a doctor once and she had no idea what it is, just that it isn’t corn or callus and isn’t something to worry about. anyone had something similar, or know what this is?? it’s so embarrassing

    no, but i’ve looked it up and i’m thinking it’s a soft corn on the top of my toe. i’ve seen a few pictures and they look identical
