Thought I'd share a happy story for a change

So I started on Sertraline in August having started suffering from Extreme anxiety attacks and depression after going back to work after 4 years at home with my daughter. I started on 25mgs and moved up to 50mg. . for a while I would be okay for a week or two then slowly sink back to feeling nothing!! I didn't wanna talk to friends, colleagues even my fiancé, I qent back to my go who upped me to 75 mgs for a month and then up to 100 mgs. I'm on 100 mgs about 6 or 7 weeks and it's the best I've felt in a year I can be happy and excited for all the things I have to look forward to. I just want to tell people give it time and they will help it took me a full 6 months but I'm me again I've also started yoga as an extra way to de-stress. So people keep on trying your doing great ? xx

    Thank you for sharing Nicola

It's nice to here the positives.

And that you are doing so well.

I'm on my 8th week and after a rough ride with all the side effects, I'm

now not getting so many. And I feel alot calmer. 😆

So hopefully we are both on the up.

    May it continue x

      Hi Pam.

I still have good days and bad at the moment, with the side

effects. Feeling nauseous, tired, face flushing they are the ones that seem to be lingering My anxiety is a lot calmer. Still get a few attacks creeping through, but it's still early days.

I'm still on 25mg, if I do go up I will go onto 37.5.

How are you doing on them??
