    Hi Di and Ses

Thanks not too bad had worse sleep than normal last night. So still trying to get my head together at mo. Don't worry about all the aids you have as long as they are working for you. I am lucky I don't need anything like that at the moment but we can never say never can we. If it makes fibro easier to deal with then so be it! I do know I cannot wear shoes with heals very well now and that can be annoying. Just a silly little trivial thing to moan about.

I hope you hear from the hospital soon. Was this to see the rheum? I have Wedding to go to tonight so will have to try and pace myself today and not do too much lol! I know what you mean about teenagers it is sometimes harder. I only have my twins who are 19 at home now. Chris is going back to uni in September and Steph is looking for somewhere to move in with her boyfriend near to where we live.

Hope you are ok Ses has didn't hear from you yesterday. I know it is difficult for you to type if you hands are hurting so much.

Both have a good weekend with a little less pain for us all!

    Love Jane/Theresa

p.s. Di Jane is my middle name so you an use either of the above. Sorry to confuse matters!

    Hi there Tess and Di,

I have been in so much pain it has been a nightmare..... every joint in my body felt as through it had been trapped in a door or something and yesterday was the wedding of my sister and it went ok but by seven o' clock I felt like I had been in a boxing ring or something, the pain was unbearable, I was sat there feeling sorry for myself as there was people a lot older than me laughing and dancing doing the time warp and other party dances and there was me sat like a 90 year old (I am 35) so glad it is over now!!!!

Anyway the sun is out and I am feeling slightly better, I do hope you both are having a better time than I have had

Take care and gentle hugs to you both xxxxx  :rose:  :rose:

    Hi Ses & Di

Like you I went to an evening wedding reception. The pain wasn't so bad for me in the evening it was more the tiredness. Like you I feel a lot older than I am with this stupid thing. I am 52 but sometimes feel like eighty. Its not very nice when you are out and feel that way. We should be looking forward to going to weddings and other occasions. I wake up in the morning and think what have I got to do today and feel as it is a big mountain to climb sometimes. I was able to a little bit of dancing nothing to energetic though. My granddaughter wanted me to dance with her so hadn't the heart to say no. Obviously if I couldn't then I would have to say no but she is good and would understand.

Just lately she has been asking me if I am happy today. Think she knows some days I am not my usual self.

My worse time for pain is first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

It is bearable during the day if I keep myself busy.

As your pain got worse over the years or has it stayed the same.

Gentle hugs back to you. Keep going!

Hope you are not in too much pain too Di and you coped with the waiting at the football at the weekend.

    Take care both. smile

    Hi there Tess,

Yeah my pain is getting worse, I think the problem being my body has got used to the meds and so the are not working anymore, I take 500mg of Gabapentine, 1-2 tramadol 4 times a day and these do not work neither, I am just hoping the Pain Specialist has some other meds that may help?

The wedding was an all day session, church, reception and night time so it was an extremely long day  I just feel so sick of feeling sick and tired, but we have to soldier on as we do not have the choice........ my support group I have put together is on Wednesday so I am hoping I am ok? Good to chat to fellow sufferers though so I will push myself and then probably feel it afterwards!!!

I am in pain again today! our summer is garbish Roll on the sunshine 8) I hope you are feeling better today Tess and I do hope you are feeling better Di?

    Take care xx

    Hi Ses

Hope they can find something to ease your pain. My pain in my body isn't so bad and can normally get away with paracetomol or coproxomol. Its the headaches that are getting me down. Had a bad head on and off all day nothing seems to take it away. Usually feel like this if I have been out and have had a late night. Really need to get early one tonight.

Trying to get my shopping done on the internet as we are away on thurs back on the following monday. Only back for three days and away again.

Looking forward to the rest though as Stewart my husband cooks all the meals. Do the shopping on line as I don't drive and is so much easier for me. It makes it difficult when you have a headache though to concentrate lol sad . Going to do it next!

Decided not to take the fluoxetine but go for the ampytripline that I have taken before as I wasn't too bad on that. Shall ring my doctor for some more tablets. Have a couple of weeks worth! Couldn't face taking a new one experiencing more side effects on top of everything else.

Wondering if some of the headaches are due to the steriod injection wearing off. It didn't do any good anyway. No more steriods for me.

Twice I tried them as an elimination process and didn't worked but gave me horrible side effects.

Well keep going as thats all we can do! :D Hope you are having a better day Di.

    Take care both

    HI there Tess,

Yeah I have to do internet shopping too I have had bouts of headaches in the past but this pain at the moment is nasty, my hubby has to cook too as my hands are so weak, I do not drive although I feel I am driving everyone around the bend with my mood swings due to the pain and fatigue...... I have calmed down but last week before my period and then due to the pain I was agitated and seemed to be at boiling point alot of the time, my emotions have settled now even though the pain hasn't subsided just must have been my hormones playing havoc

Amitryptiline I had side effects due to my asthma and thyroid, I had breathing difficulties it was quite scary, this was however since the doctor increased the dose :? I do not take these now and the side effects weaning off them too was awful another experience I would not like to go through again. I now wake up quite a lot or a find it hard to sleep, it is such a pain this does not help FMS!!!!

I used to get the headaches as I seemed to get sinsitus alot but touch wood it has subsided for now? the gabapentine may have sorted that out???? :?:

I was asked if I wanted steriod injections but when I had an epidural for having my son it scared me a little, as I have disc problems and they couldnt find the cavity in the spine, so I shot nearly to the ceiling, wasn't nice so I don't want to use that route, Pain Specilist said they wear off and you can only have so many in one year so I feel I just have to \"put up with the Pain\"

I do hope we all have a easier day tomorrow  gentle hugs to you both xxxxxx

    Take care :fairy:
