What is this? I had intercourse a couple of weeks ago and noticed this. Seemed like a pimple or two that I tried popping (stupidly) and now there is another red bump. I am so nervous!

herpes looks so different on men compared to women so im unsure of if thats what it appears to be or not, but the fact that its spreading is concerning. id get a test to be sure

the "spread" is the tiny bump above on the vein. Looks like a tiny zit tbh. Does it look like a reason to be considered. I'm waiting to hear back from doctor.

Update: the small bump appeared this morning but gone now. (did pick at it so a pin needle size scab). Others basically resemble scars from trying to pop/pick it. Hopeful it's not. Had DR order a lab test. Any insight to help my paranoia is still appreciated

many men dismiss herpes because it resembles an ingrown hair/is painless. but theirs so many other things that it could be besides herpes. the anxiety waiting for results is normal, but even if it is herpes know that its not the end of the world.

A bump that ulcers, is herpes. herpes looks like a "hole punch" I was told by a clinician

honestly would you consider it an ulcer or just a scab? Since it is scabbed over. Taking test in AM.

it looks like an ulcer in the first pic. when it scabs up, it's already in the healing process so it wont really look like an ulcer. it takes 2-4 months for herpes to show up in the blood. I always test at 4 months that way I know for sure if I have it or not. testing too early can give you a false negative. make sure to specifically ask for a herpes test otherwise they will not test you for it.

it went from being a zit, to me picking at it, to the last pic all within maybe 24-48 hours. Wouldn't it last longer if it was anything else?
