your early in the healing journey. give it time to heal as the bone is growing to secure the new components. in long term healing 6-12 months your will be moving without the least thought of hip surgery.ntry protein shakes they made me feel so much better. and during this time of healing all sweets are not fattening and have no calories. its proof that chocolate has healing power. only for the next few months after that it all has calories again.

    sending healing blessings your way.

Hi Thank you for your advice, i know everything you have said is correct. I just want to be up and back to normal whatever that is. I will stop worrying and take each at a tine and eat more chocolates to help the healing process.

      take care .

Dislocation is rare these days. So forget that. Walking freely can take a range of time. I got off the cane at about 9 weeks. Call your surgeon's office if you're worried.

But don't worry about dislocation. Surgeons have basically solved that problem.

So don't I need to avoid angles of less than 90%? or crossing legs?

How exactly have surgeons learned to avoid dislocations?

I'm having a thr revision soon and I'm wondering how to plan for healing...
